This sport chronograph was designed o commemorate the designers from Maranello and was meant to resemble the F1 Ferrari racecar.

Unfortunately for Girard-Perregaux this partnership ended in 2004 and the watchmaker has stopped producing watches and chronographs with the Ferrari logo. Girard-Perregaux has kept one watch of each Ferrari model in the museum of the brand, so that every fan of Ferrari and every connoisseur of Girard-Perregaux watches could admire the beauty and refinement of those watches.

Panerai and Ferrari � the Pure Italian Partnership

If the cancelling of the contract between Girard-Perregaux and Ferrari in 2004 was unfortunate, then it was very fortunate for the Italian fans of Ferrari. Right after this Ferrari has signed a cooperation contract with Officine Panerai and it was surely approved by the Italian racing fans.

Since the beginning of the collaboration Panerai has issued two collections, dedicated to Ferrari: Granturismo and Scuderia. These collections were seen for the first time in 2006 at the SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie).
