Corum Admiral's Cup Challenge 44 Regatta

The Admiral's Cup Challenge 44 Regatta has been created by Corum as the ideal partner for key moments of a regatta. The timepiece is provided with the split-seconds chronograph function that allows it to display several intermediate times.

The Regatta watch is equipped with a 13 ¼''' self-winding movement, the COSC-certified CO-986. The mechanism was developed for Corum by La Joux Perret on a Valjoux base. The model is presented in a signature 12-sided case.

The dial of the Admiral's Cup Challenge 44 Regatta features a hobnail pattern. The distinctively-shaped chronograph model has a 30-minute counter positioned at 3 o'clock, a 12-hour counter at 6 and the running seconds counter at 9. The rings around the three sub dials as well as the chevrons and the number '60' at 12 o'clock are executed in applied gold.

The dial rim spotlights trademark 12 painted colored pennants. In the center of the dial there are four hands - the luminescent hours and minutes hands and the chronograph hands - one in gold and the other, red. All the indications do not disturb a unique balance of the dial.

The new bold Corum timepiece has successfully blended red gold and rubber. The screw-in crown featuring a double-notched grip is protected by a vulcanized-rubber extension of the case. The button at 8 o'clock, provided by the same protection, controls the red split-seconds hand. The two rocking buttons at 2 and 4 o'clock, also in the same rubber protection, are positioned precisely in the center of the lugs, maintaining the unique symmetry of the watch.

The integrated-in-the-case bracelet is composed of red gold and rubber links. It is equipped with the buckle, a mechanical-fastening triple folding clasp, that was developed and produced exclusively for Corum.

The Corum Admiral's Cup Challenge 44 Regatta, characterized by clean lines, precision and luxury, has been launched in a limited edition of 600 pieces.

The first Regatta watch of the series was donated by Corum to support the Only Watch charity auction for the Monegasque Association against Muscular Dystrophy. 35 prestigious brands donated their unique pieces for the 2007 sale that raised 2,756,500 Euro for research against the disease.
