Harry Winston Project Z4 has been created as an ideal traveler's watch. The timepiece has joined three other previously-developed models entering the Harry Winston Project Zalium series that was initiated by Ronald Winston in 2004 and defined as 'watches of finesse and force.' The 44-mm zalium case of the Project Z4 with mobile lugs sports two independently set hour-and-minute dials for keeping track of its owner's business and leisure time. There are also associated graphic 24-hour displays of daytime and nighttime, for every time zone- the displays are designed to show at a glance, when it's time to place calls around the globe. To click from one time zone to another, it's necessary to press the repeater-style trigger on the left side of the case. The easy-to-read date may be in no time set using the crown. It is surrounded vertically by the discs-interplay for the minute display and hour. You will also notice the tiny rotating shuriken symbol that completes the indicators. The symbol represents a multi-bladed throwing weapon, a distinguishing feature of all Project Z watches. The shuriken also serves as an unconventional way to show that the movement of the watch is functioning normally. The combination of blue on carbon black or white on anthracite gray are opted for by the watch's designers to create clarity and discretion on the dial's four levels. The complicated time-zone module was developed in-house by Harry Winston basing on a robust, self-winding caliber. The Cal. GP 3196 beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour provides 45-hour power-reserve. The timepiece boasts 100-meter water resistance. The timepiece goes on a black natural rubber strap. The mobile lugs of the of the Project Z4's case guarantees supreme comfort of wearing. One more distinctive characteristic of the timepiece is Harry Winston emblematic motif protecting the crown. All the Harry Winston Z watches are crafted in Zalium that is highly appreciated by watchmakers as the hard, light, zirconium alloy. Zalium was developed to be used in jet engines. It s a perfectly suitable material for producing watch cases due to its hypo-allergenic characteristics and supreme resistance to corrosion. Zalium sports a matte battleship grey hue with a celestial radiance and a dark gleam. Harry Winston is going to launch a limited edition of 300 Z4 watches, devoted to Harry Winston's promise to launch 'nothing but the exceptional.'
