A Little Bit of History
In 1755 a gifted watchmaker Jean-Marc Vacheron opened its workshop in Geneva. Very soon the fame of that "cabinotier" - that way they called Geneva watchmakers then - spread far and wide.
In 1819 an experienced businessman and lucky tradesman Francois Constantin jointed Vacheron's company. Francois Constantin made a great contribution into the development of the business, having registered the trade mark in 1880.
