The mixture of the vibrant photographic art created by one of the most legendary rock guitarists ever and a highly-respected, ultra-prestigious, somehow edgy Swiss watchmaking company that acted as a host of an event at the hip NYC Milk studios resulted in a night to remember! Andy Summers of The Police joined efforts with Zenith Swiss Watch Manufacture and together they acted as the catalysts for one of the most exciting evenings in New York City held in autumn 2007. During an invitation-only VIP reception organized on October 30th, artists, musicians, fans, models, and friends of Summers and Zenith had a unique chance to enjoy the scenes series of amazing black and white photos featuring the early days of The Police. The exhibition revealed a photo that Andy Summers took specifically for Zenith. The piece features the Manufacture's DEFY Classic Open watch with the creative use of a guitar as a prop. The evening was highlighted by Paul Ziff, President of Zenith North America, presenting Mr. Summers with a Zenith timepiece. According to Paul Ziff, Andy Summers is a famous professional artist in two distinct areas, reflecting the spirit of Zenith Watch Manufacture. Mr. Summers is a talented, versatile and a true Renaissance man with a style and manner, equally warm and gracious. The brand is really proud to have Andy Summers wearing a Zenith timepiece on his wrist. It is remarkable that the Police rocked two sold out houses at Madison Square Garden coinciding in time with the unique exhibition.
