Vacheron Constantin Replica Watche

Vacheron Constantin replica watches bear one of the most prominent names lightening the history of Swiss horology. Vacheron Constantin, alongside Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet, belong to the legendary Trinity of 20th century watch manufacturers founded in Switzerland.

The official date of the company's foundation is 1785, although its origins have been traced back to 1755, when Jean-Marc Vacheron at the age of 24 became one of the Genevan Cabinotier. The young man was a well-behaved, widely-read, and honorable member of the intellectuals. In no time he gained an excellent reputation as the producer of premium timepieces. Vacheron's fame spread even to the European Royal Courts, where the brand's creations were impressive for the Court Timekeeper and Royal Watchmakers.

While not so often mentioned, Georges-Auguste Leschot played a great part in the history of brand, having joined Vacheron-Chossat in 1839.

Leschot was one of those who essentially pioneered the motorization of serialized production. Before Leschot joined Vacheron, almost all watch parts were rough cut, formed, and finished by hand. The need for fine precision forced the custom development of every single part, even if the design was generally unaltered. The parts even for the same model could not be interchanged. Substantially, every finished piece was a one-off.

The brand's watchmakers had to face a problem of production and execution, not of design. For some decades they worked hard in order to find a way out and create mechanisms producing precision parts that could subsequently be used in serial production. Leschot invaluable contribution into the process lay in designing machines producing parts that were of good quality and precision, interchangeable in the same caliber, but still requiring hand finishing.

Vacheron Constantin immediately reached high level of the production and cost efficiencies and the company became a major supplier of components to other watchmakers. Leschot's machines also contributed to the success of the bar movement design in Switzerland. The company has been credited for introducing machine work into the watch-making process. Leschot and Vacheron played fundamental roles in the industrialization of watch-making that turned to be really beneficial for future leading watch manufacturers, Omega and Longines. G-A Leschot created many other mechanical and machining breakthroughs.

Vacheron Constantin took an active part in time trials and competitions, usually receiving top awards and prizes. There is even the story about top honors awarded to a series of 9 watches submitted to Kew Observatories in England. These victories strengthened the brand's well-deserved image of the best watch-making company in the world.

Vacheron Constantin replica watches feature an outstanding reputation gained in the horology world by the unique Swiss company.
